As we unwind from what can only be described as an unforgettable season, we want to reflect on just how incredible last night was…the Castle filled wall to wall with spectators, fierce competitors on the ice, and an energy felt by everyone in the building that we won’t soon forget.
Over the next while we look forward to sharing more moments that made the 2025/2026 season so special.
Thank you to our dedicated volunteers and board members for everything they do behind the scenes and on game nights, and to the Penetang Arena staff for the work they put in throughout the season to help make game nights possible.
To our bench staff — thank you for the time and commitment you give to this team, and to your families for sharing that time with us throughout the season.
To our players: every single one of you played a role in making this team what it is. Your commitment each time you stepped on the ice did not go unnoticed.
To the Kings families, thank you for the countless hours spent driving to rinks, cheering from the stands, and supporting these players throughout the season.
To our sponsors, thank you for investing in hometown hockey. We hope you were in the building last night to feel that energy for yourselves.
And to the fans who come out each week and brave those metal benches — really just part of the charm of our rink — thank you. We heard you, we saw you, and we loved watching the sea of purple grow in the stands all season long.
A special thank you to Marj for continuing to bring in Kings merchandise that helps so many fans feel like part of the Kings family, and to Keith Todd for capturing game-time memories that will be cherished for years to come.
Lastly, to Carter, Caiden, and Aiden — thank you for giving it everything you had right until the final buzzer. We wish you great success in your next chapters and look forward to seeing you back in the stands next season as part of the Kings alumni.

Talk About Them Thursday…
Tyson started playing hockey at just 4 years old, beginning his minor hockey journey in Midland @mmhacentennials .One of his favourite memories from those early years was being part of three OMHA Championship teams, moments that helped shape his love for the game and the competitive spirit he brings to the ice.
When asked why he wanted to be a King, the answer was simple: he loves the sport of hockey and sees the Penetang Kings as an incredible organization to be part of.
Off the ice, he is currently studying Police Foundations at Georgian College and plans to continue his education at Lakehead University to study Criminology, with the goal of becoming a Police Officer.
A strong work ethic on the ice and a clear path for the future, exactly the kind of dedication that defines a King.

Talk About Them Tuesday…
When Logan arrived in Penetang, he was introduced as a dependable left-shot forward and trusted PK specialist entering his third year in the PJHL.
Since then, he’s continued to prove exactly that. Steady in key moments and ready when called upon.
Logan began his hockey journey in Barrie before stops in Innisfil and Georgina. What he’s appreciated most about being a King? The fans and the bond inside the locker room. The Castle has a way of making you feel part of something bigger and Logan has embraced it fully.
During our BMR/Georgian Bay General Hospital event, Logan found the back of the net helping generate a $250 donation to @gbghfoundation from @bmr.elmvale . A goal that gives back to the community, that’s hometown hockey.
Off the ice, Logan works as a CNC Machinist while continuing to pursue his goal of becoming a firefighter putting in the work now for the future he’s building.
